Itinerary
  • After pickup from your centrally located hotel in Hyderabad, meet your guide and start your walking tour by exploring the markets and pearl shops of Hyderabad on foot.
  • Next up, visit the Charminar, one of Hyderabad's most famous sites. Enter the building and follow your guide up the narrow steps for sweeping views of the city.
  • Continue to Mecca Masjid, one of India's largest mosques, which can accommodate as many as 10,000 worshipers during holidays. Completed in 1694, this stunning building employed 8,000 masons and has Belgian crystal chandeliers.
  • From the Charminar, stroll over to Laad Bazaar Street to browse vendors that carry a shimmering array of lacquer bangles, bridal accessories, antiques, and Hyderabadi Attar (botanical essential oils).
  • The street ends near Chowmahalla Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that dates to the 1880s and was built for the powerful monarch, the Nizam of Hyderabad.
  • Explore one of the oldest vegetable markets and head to popular joints to sip a cup of hot tea known as Irani Chai with Osmania biscuits, bite into warm, just baked local bread.
  • Carry on further with your guide to watch the efforts that go into preparing some of the best delicacies this region has to offer and taste some of the typical street food including some local kebabs and Hyderabadi biryani.
